  • Endoscopic Disc Surgery:  I have performed the largest number (500) of Endoscopic Disc Surgery in India. I have designed & developed a special instrument for Endoscopic Disc Surgery. The design of this  instrument  has been submitted for patent rights.                                                               Endoscopic Disc Surgery is a minimally invasive technique to treat a common problem of Disc Prolapse or Sciatica. Patients are operated through a very small cut in the back and no skin stitches are given. They are allowed to walk around few hours after surgery and are discharged from the hospital within 24 hours after surgery. Patients are very comfortable after surgery and they go back to work few days after surgery. The cut is so small that it can be covered with a Band-aid that’s why this is also called as Band-aid surgery.  Patients from various parts of India and abroad have benefited from this surgical technique.
